Gibson Lake is directly east of Lake Muskoka along Hwy 38. Access the east side of the lake from Hwy 38 at the town of Gibson. But there is greater access from the west side along Hwy 400. Route 33 will take you to the south shores of the lake and Hiawatha and Causeway Road will get you out to the peninsulas. The Gibson Lake paddling route starts at the south end and can take your right out into Georgian Bay if you like. The walleye fishing is known be good at times and the other common fish is the largemouth and small mouth bass.
Our Lake Ontario list is growing and our goal is to strive to give the most comprehensive list available. If there is a particular lake we missed or you think deserves mention, please Contact Us. We'd love to hear from you.
