Devil’s Gap Trail
Main Use: hiking
Other Use: skiing, biking, snowshoeing
Length: 6 km
Devil’s Gap trail is just north of Gravenhurst off Hwy 169. Take Snider Bay road to the start of the trail. The trail goes through a wetland area and some thick forest and eventually takes you to the famous Devil’s Gap. This whole area is part of Torrance Barrens Conservation and Dark Sky Reserve and renowed for its star gazing. Parts of this area are very rocky and barren so its a very interesting geological area. The actual star gazing area is closer to Southwood Road, west of the start of Devil’s Gap trail.
