Just off of Hwy 400 near the Elsie Mills Conservation Forest is the Horsehoe Resort Nordic trails which offer great cross country skiing and even some scenic view of the surrounding area. Its also not far from the Copeland Forest Management Area trails. In the summer its great for hiking and biking as well.
