Bird Lake if right beside Bigwind Lake Provincial Park. Bird lake can be accessed from the north from Route 14 Fraserburg Road or from the south from Route 118 Tretheway Falls Road and then Bird Lake Road. There are numerous cottages along both sides of the waterfront.
