Buck Lake

Fish: smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, pike
Cottages: Yes

Buck Lake is a fair sized lake northwest of Huntsville along Route 2. Its a popular cottage lake and there is good access around the entire lake. Head north along Route 2 until you get to Ilfracombe and either take Old Novar Road to Fisher Creek Road and then Selena Road to access the north end of Buck Lake. Or access the west side of the lake by heading west at Ilfracombe to Deerwood Drive. The lake was formed as a result of the dam at the south end of Buck Lake on the Buck River. The Buck River empties into Fox Lake to the south.

Our Lake Ontario list is growing and our goal is to strive to give the most comprehensive list available. If there is a particular lake we missed or you think deserves mention, please Contact Us. We'd love to hear from you.
