Dickie Lake

Fish: smallmouth bass
Cottages: Yes

Dickie Lake is a great summer cottage lake. Its in a classic part of Muskoka, just south of Lake of Bays – a bit out of the way from the three major centers, Huntsville, Bracebridge and Gravenhurst but lovely country. You access Dickie Lake by turning south from Route 51 (Echo Lake Road). There are two roads to choose. One will take you all around the west and south ends of the lake. The other takes you to the east side. There are cottages in the area as well. Dickie Lake is also part of the Muskoka River area. Lake of Bays empties into the Muskoka River which winds its way all the way to Bracebridge. It makes for an excellent canoe paddling route with camping along the way.

Our Lake Ontario list is growing and our goal is to strive to give the most comprehensive list available. If there is a particular lake we missed or you think deserves mention, please Contact Us. We'd love to hear from you.
