Go Home Lake

Fish: pike, largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, walleye
Cottages: No

Go Home Lake is a fairly large size lake with numerous islands. It is situated almost north south in orientation with east west legs at either end of the lake. All the bays and islands make it a good area for largemouth and smallmouth bass. It is a remote lake however and is only accessible at the southern tip. Take Route 32 (Go Home Lake Road) from Hwy 400 and head west to Potters Landing. There is a boat launch just before Potters Landing and one at the end of Go Home Lake Road. There is also a smaller road that goes along the east shore towards Beaver Island. Gibson Lake is in the Georgian Bay wetlands so many of the lakes in this area are quite low lying and therefore access is more difficult.

Our Lake Ontario list is growing and our goal is to strive to give the most comprehensive list available. If there is a particular lake we missed or you think deserves mention, please Contact Us. We'd love to hear from you.
