Lake Joseph is one the four largest bodies of water in Muskoka. It is a very popular destination lake and great for all water activities imagineable, fishing, sailing, swimming, paddling, water skiing, windsurfing. There are all kinds of tucked away bays, islands, points to make this a cottage and boating paradise. Lake Joseph begins in the south at Cox Bay near the north end of Lake Rosseau and the town of Port Sandfield. From there, it stretches north to Port Cockburn. The closest major town is Rosseau to the east. Starting in the south waterfront properties are found all around Cox Bay. Proctor’s Point to Robert’s Bay is also popular for cottages. Foot’s Bay, Greens Bay, Wrights Bay, Woodroffe Bay, Gordon Bay and Hamer Bay are all ideal cottage areas along the west waterfront of Lake Joseph. On the east shoreline some of the nice spots are Cumberland Bay, Joseph River, and up to Little Lake Joseph. Further north Trout Bay, Pickerel Bay and Richards Bay are also very nice areas.

Our Lake Ontario list is growing and our goal is to strive to give the most comprehensive list available. If there is a particular lake we missed or you think deserves mention, please Contact Us. We'd love to hear from you.
