McNutt Lake

Fish: smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, walleye, pike
Cottages: Yes

McNutt lake is a small lake just north of Lake Joseph and east of Parry Sound. Take Hwy 69 north to Route 518 and take the service road south to McNutt Lake. Haines Lake is just on the north side of Route 518. There are some cottages in the area but it is not heavily developed. There is some bass fishing and walleye and pike. McNutt is another one of the hundreds of Muskoka lakes that are slightly off the beaten track and allow you to experience the cottage life away from some of the busier and larger lakes to the south.

Our Lake Ontario list is growing and our goal is to strive to give the most comprehensive list available. If there is a particular lake we missed or you think deserves mention, please Contact Us. We'd love to hear from you.

  • Is there any campgrounds for trailers on McNutt Lake? What is the lake like? ( average depth, weedy, how big is it, etc. )? Thank-you.
