Muskoka Lakes
Moot Lake
Fish: smallmouth bass, largemouth bass
Cottages: Yes
Moot Lake is northeast of Bracebridge, just south of Baysville near Lake of Bays. It’s a popular cottage lake and is accessed from Route 117. Take Moot Lake Road north and you can then turn either up the west or east sides of the lake. Outlet creek drains from its south end into the Muskoka River. The fishing is not spectacular being a relatively small lake and a popular location but there is a bass population.
Our Lake Ontario list is growing and our goal is to strive to give the most comprehensive list available. If there is a particular lake we missed or you think deserves mention, please Contact Us. We'd love to hear from you.
