Oxtongue Lake

Fish: smallmouth bass, lake trout
Cottages: Yes

Oxtongue Lake is a beautiful lake at the southern tip of Algonquin Park and just north of Huntsville along Highway 60 Oxtongue Lake Road. Oxtongue lake is a popular canoe and paddling route where paddlers come from deep within the park down the Oxtongue River into Lake of Bays. There is good access to the east side of the lake via Harris Bay Road. But there are also a couple service roads off Route 60 to the west side of the lake. There are also snowmobile trails to the east of the lake into the back country.

Our Lake Ontario list is growing and our goal is to strive to give the most comprehensive list available. If there is a particular lake we missed or you think deserves mention, please Contact Us. We'd love to hear from you.
