Turtle Lake is a right beside Gilbank Lake and is much larger. The easiest way to get to Turtle Lake is from Tally Ho Road and head each to the town of Turtle Lake. Star Lake Road winds around the east side of the lake and there are service roads around the west and south side. The fishing is reasonable for bass, including largemouth bass. Cottages are found along the north waterfront and then sporadically along the west waterfront. There is no development along the east side of the lake.
