Virtue lake is a small lake and a popular cottage lake. Its just to the north of Lake Joseph tucked inconspicuously behind popular Horseshoe Lake. There is some bass fishing but mostly it is a nice quiet lake to get away and relax. Take Hwy 400 to Hwy 69 at Horseshoe Lake and then head south east to Hayes Corners. Get on Route 141 and about two kilometers down the road turn left on to the service road which goes past the southeast end of Horseshoe lake but continues north in a round about way to Virtue Lake. There are snowmobile trails right in the area that are popular in the winter months.
