Balsam Lake Provincial Park

Balsam Lake Provincial Park is a small park situated along the western shore of Balsam Lake which is part of the famed Trent Waterway System. Balsam Lake park is at the very southern reaches of Muskoka, along the point of transition to the Kawartha Lakes region to the east and Haliburton to the north east. Either way its a beautiful park offering great boating, swimming, fishing and sailboarding.

There are over 500 campsites, 213 of which have electrical hookups. There are lots of amenities and facilities for camping making it very popular during the summer months. A variety of watercraft are available for rent as well. The hiking trails in the park are perfect for nature lovers during the summer and great for cross country skiing in the winter as they are groomed.
