Bass Lake Provincial Park
Bass Lake provincial park is just east of Orillia off of Hwy 12. It isn’t really quite in the Muskoka region, actually just south, but its on the way up from Hwy 11 and at the very least it’s a nice place to stop during a day trip to rest and take in the lake and nature trails.
There are over 182 campsites, 92 of which have electrical hookups. There are also toilets and showers available. The 3km nature trail is great for hiking in the warmer months and doubles as a cross country ski and snowshoe trail in the winter.
