Bear Lake Peatland Conservation Reserve
Bear Lake Peatland Conservation Reserve is a recent addition to the other conservation reserves in Ontario. Its ecologically important because of the large peat bog. It’s a favourite spot for wetland birds and moose. Its also situated just on the north side of the famous Seguin trail. Hwy 518 runs along the southern boundary of the reserve. Its a relatively remote area, situated in the heart of the Muskoka region, directly north of Lake Rosseau and even Huntsville.
Our Muskoka Park Maps list is growing, and our goal is to strive to give the most comprehensive list available. If there is a particular Muskoka Park we missed or you think deserves mention, please Contact Us. We'd love to hear from you.
