Crane Lake Forest Provincial Conservation Reserve
Crane Lake Forest Conservation Reserve is a remote 392 area on the west shore of Crane Lake. The area contains beautiful hemlock and maple forests. It is only accessible by boat from Crane Lake.
The best way in is from Hwy 400 to Rosseau Road, Black road to Crane Lake road where a canoe or boat can be put in. There are no facilites in the reserve but its a perfect place to experience the true Muskoka back country.
